The Bayou Bartholomew Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will meet at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Leon’s Catfish Catfish & Shrimp Restaurant, 3801 Chapel Village # 18.
“This is a reorganization meeting to get the dormant chapter reactivated,” according to a news release.
“We invite new member prospects to come and join us as guests. If you have found an ancestor who served in the military, or in a civilian capacity demonstrating their support of the Revolution, and you are interested in membership, come visit with us at this meeting. You may bring your spouse to this meeting,” according to the release.
Although there is no requirement to eat at the event, attendees who choose to eat are responsible for their meals, according to the release.
