Pine Bluff police are continuing their investigation into a shooting at a Blake Street restaurant Wednesday night that injured three people.
The shooting occurred at 7:35 p.m. at Kibb’s BBQ Restaurant, 1400 S. Blake St.
According to a police report, the first officer to arrive at the scene reported seeing several people running in and out of the restaurant, and when the officer entered, they encountered two males who had both been shot in the lower body.
A third male was found in the restaurant office; he said he had been shot in the arm and leg.
Two of the victims were 18 and the third 19. All three were taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Police reported finding a bullet hole in the front door of the restaurant, and an outside light fixture was broken due to being struck. A projectile was located inside the business, and several shell casings were found outside the building.
While officers were on the scene, they were advised that a vehicle belonging to a man working at A&S Quick Mart, which is located near the restaurant, had been hit with gunfire. They found a silver Chevrolet Camaro that had been parked just south of the crime scene with a bullet hole in the center of the rear windshield.
