McGEHEE — Faye’s House Inc. is hosting a “Jesus is Lord Campaign” at McGehee on Saturdays, July 13 through Aug. 3.

Faye’s House will canvas McGehee spreading God’s love on Saturdays in partnership with New Life Ministries Christian Center, St. Peter AME Church, Women in Transition to Glory Services Inc. and Upper Room Christian Church, according to a news release.

Residents are asked to be on the look out for these organizations and the people involved in this campaign as they travel through McGehee beginning July 13, according to the release.

Organizers include the Rev. Millie McNealey; pastors, Lanette R. Frazier, Shirley Smith and Arletha Tackett; and participants Johnnie Isom, Arlisha Armour and Sharron McGowan.

The groups will close out this campaign with a city-wide Unity Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, in downtown McGehee (on Main Street in front of the old Malco Theater.)

The festival will include free food and entertainment and the event is open to the public, according to the release.
