Plans are underway for the 2019 University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff/AM&N Homecoming Hall of Fame and King/Queen Banquet, according to a news release from Tanya Stephens Walker, Ms. Alumni Queen contestant.
The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County UAPB/AM&N Alumni Chapter and Walker recently announced the upcoming gala and are reminding alumni of dues.
The Homecoming Hall of Fame and King/Queen Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Tickets are $100 per person or $800 per table that seats eight, according to the release.
To purchase an ad for the Hall of Fame and King/Queen Souvenir book, participants should contact Mary Liddell, 870-643-2383. The deadline for ad purchase is Aug. 9, according to the release.
Also, alumni are reminded that national alumni dues are $50 or they may upgrade the national dues to life membership status. Participants may make a general donation of any amount, according to the release.
The deadline for donations is Sept. 5. Mail donations to 1200 N. University Drive, Mail Slot 4813, Pine Bluff, AR 71601. Make checks payable to UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association. To pay by credit card, call the UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association at 870-536-2309.
