The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff/AM&N Alumni Chapter will present a back-to-school charity basketball game at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Watson Chapel High School Gymnasium. The doors open at noon.

The event is being held in support of Tanya Stephens Walker, Ms. Alumni Queen contestant, according to a news release.

“At this event, we will have the fire department vs. police department playing a competitive basketball game with two certified referees,” according to the release.

The half time show will showcase four majorette dance teams competing in a stand battle and captain’s battle.
