The White Hall Little League team, undefeated in its regular season play and the Arkansas State champions, is heading to Waco, Texas, and the Southwest Regional Tournament. Their first game will be Aug. 1.

Helping to send the team on comes from White Hall American Legion Post 232 and Redfield American Legion Post 343. Glen Minor, commander of the White Hall post, and Danny Brickey, commander of the Redfield post, each presented $200 checks to the team Thursday during a practice session.

Donations are still being accepted since the team could be headed to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and the Little League World Series if they win the regional tourney. Call team mom Allison Gill at 870-692-0889 to contribute to the team.

Manager of the team is Ray Cook and coaches are Chad Gill and Zack Pullman.

Team members are Kline Catlett, Colton Davis, Landon James, Jake Law, Nate Livingston, Andrew McCombs, Dawson Miller, Keagon Poplaski, Carson Reece, Drew Reece, Roston Reed, Pearson Smith and Waylon Wilson.

Allison Gill said the games will be televised on the Longhorn Network, channel 677 on DirecTV and channel 407 on Dish.
