The Lil’ Mister & Miss Golden Lion Pageant 2019 will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at the theater of the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County main library, 200 W. Eighth Ave.

Parents are invited to enter their children in the pageant, according to a news release from the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff/AM&N Alumni Chapter and UAPB/AM&N Ms. Alumni Queen Contestant Tanya Stephens Walker.

All proceeds will benefit the UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association, according to the release.

The age range for participants in the Baby Lil’ Mister & Miss is newborn to two years old. The Tiny Lil’ Mister & Miss category is three to five years old and the Petite Lil’ Mister and Miss category is six to nine years old.

The age range for participants in the Pre-Teen Mister and Miss category is 10-12 years old and the Mister and Miss Category is 13-17 years old.

Pageant packets may be picked up at Pop’s Barbershop, Paradise Beauty Salon (in the Camelot Shopping Center), Fathers and Sons Clothier, A Small World Daycare, Jack N’ Jill Fun Zone (in The Pines mall), Briggs BBQ, and the children’s library at the Pine Bluff main library in the civic center.

Admission for the general public to attend the pageant is $10 in advance and $12 the day of event. Admission for children is $5 the day of the event.
