The community is invited to attend to a free School of Success Motivational Night from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Southeast Arkansas College.

The event is tailored for all the students, teachers, parents, organizations and everyone who wants to learn more about how to be successful, organizer Marina Amdream said in a news release.

The speakers include Pine Bluff Mayor Shirley Washington, Matt Mosler, pastor of New Life Church Pine Bluff; Steven Bloomberg, SEARK College president; and Joni Alexander, Youth Engagement Services chief executive officer and Pine Bluff Council member; and Amdream, videographer/owner of EMRO VIDEOS LLC and a motivational speaker.

Hosts will be Lynette Bloomberg, director of the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Bill Brumett, owner of Bill Brumett & Associates Insurance & Financial Services. Pine Bluff Dance Academy students will also perform, according to the release.

Refreshments will be served and giveaways will be available.

Also, the organizer invites everyone to a family friendly Hip Hop Party from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Agape Arts Center, 1520 S. Poplar St.
