The community is invited to a meeting to learn more about Bank On from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave. Registration is free and lunch will be provided.
Bank On Arkansas+ (BOA), in partnership with University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension and Arkansas Community Foundation, is hosting the event.
“BOA+ is an initiative that is working to ensure that all Arkansans have access to safe, trusted, and affordable banking so they have the opportunity to save for themselves, build wealth for their families, and improve quality of life in their communities,” according to a news release.
“BOA+ is hosting a series of training for organizations that work with low- to moderate-income clients who might need assistance getting connected with banking services – for example, homeless shelters, food pantries, job skills training programs, literacy councils, and other human services-type organizations,” according to the release.
