New Horizons Extension Homemakers Club met at St. Andrew Missionary Baptist Church at Pine Bluff recently.

Sarah Gwin and Sophia Gwin, chairwomen of the New Horizons EHC Salvation Army project, presented a box of toiletry items to the captain of the Salvation Army during a July 8 meeting, according to a news release.

They have been collecting toiletry items all year. The chairwomen agreed to continue this project for the upcoming new year.

New Horizons EHC will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at St. Andrew Missionary Baptist Church, 5810 W Malcomb St. Anyone is welcome to attend and join the club.
