The Jefferson County Master Gardeners will be accepting horticulture entries at the Southeast Arkansas District Livestock Show, Rodeo and Fair.
The fair will be held at Hestand Stadium Fairgrounds Sunday, Sept. 29, through Saturday, Oct. 5, according to a fair spokesman.
The horticulture entries will be accepted on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 1-5 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Hestand Stadium, according to a news release from Kurt Beaty, an agent with the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service.
Participants may enter plants, produce and flowers in three divisions: Youth (ages 12 and under), Junior (ages 13-17), and Senior (age 18 and above).
Entry forms are available now at the Extension Office, 500 Idaho St., or can be filled out at the Hestand Stadium fairgrounds Oct. 1-2.
The Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service is part of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture which offers all its Extension and Research programs and services without discrimination.
