The Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce announces the sponsors for the Taste of Southeast Arkansas.


The event will feature samplings of signature dishes by regional chefs Friday, Sept. 20, at the Pine Bluff Country Club. The affair begins with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and tasting at 7 p.m.


Sponsors include: Master chef level — Relyance Bank and Simmons Bank; Executive chef level — Jefferson Regional, MK Distributors, Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Co., Sissy’s Log Cabin and Southeast Arkansas College; Sou chef level — Stone Bank and Mac Norton for Circuit Judge; Station chef level — Express Emploment Professionals, Tara Promotional Products Inc. and Therese Free for Circuit Judge, according to the Chamber newsletter.


Chefs include: Chef Mitch Berlin, Chef Trey Buckner, Chef Brian Hargis, Chef Shane Henderson, Chef Jan Lewandowski, Chef Jamie McAfee, Chef Jay McAfee, Chef Jill McDonald, Chef Wendy Shay and Chef Gary Tucker.


Also during the event, the Chamber will host the Pot of Gold Draw Down. Only 100 advance tickets will be sold for $100 each for a chance to win $5,000. (Draw down is not included with Taste ticket.)


The Taste of Southeast Arkansas raises money for Jefferson County Young Professionals Network to use for upcoming community service projects.
