Pine Bluff students will march against bullying and gun violence during National Anti-bullying and Crime Prevention Month.

The “March on Washington” Street will start at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Broadmor Elementary School, 1106 S. Wisconsin St., according to a news release from the Pine Bluff TenPoint PEN OR PENCIL Expansion Hub Initiative.

“Violence in our community has a huge impact on the children,” according to the release. “To combat the negative, a Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) as well as Social Emotional Learning (SEL) are taking place to help prevent school violence and improve safety.”

Parents, clergy and community leaders are asked to join the students. Details: 870-730-1131.
