The Jefferson County Extension Homemakers are selling shelled pecans and peanuts, the group’s only annual fundraiser.

Proceeds from the sale provide funding for leadership training, workshops, and educational programs for Jefferson and surrounding counties, according to a news release.

Prices are: 5 pound box, shelled fancy pecan halves - $50; 3 pound cloth bag of shelled peanuts - $10; 1 pound chocolate double dip peanuts - $9; and 30 pound box, shelled fancy pecan halves - $290.

The pecans and peanuts will be available for pick up before Thanksgiving. Extension Homemakers will notify customers when the pecans arrive.

The order deadline is Thursday, Oct. 31. Checks should be payable to Jefferson County Extension Homemakers and mailed to Delores Kelley, treasurer; P.O. Box 21062; White Hall, AR, 71612.

Orders will be taken Monday through Friday, Oct. 14-18, at the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Office, 500 S. Idaho St.
