Crews repairing a bridge deck on State Highway 114 in Cleveland County will require a road closure from 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, through 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, weather permitting.

Crews will be repairing a bridge deck over Kessee Creek that will require closure of the highway between U.S. 63 and State Highway 35, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Local traffic will be allowed, however, through traffic will be detoured. Eastbound traffic will continue on Highway 35 to Highway 63. Traffic will then travel north on Highway 63 to return to Highway 114. Westbound traffic will travel south on Highway 63 and then turn west on Highway 35, according to ARDOT.

Signage will direct traffic through the detour area. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in work zones. Drivers may consider finding alternate routes as delays may occur.
