The Progressive Women’s Association will host its annual fall scholarship auction at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at White Hall City Hall.


“Progressive Women’s Association is committed to helping women in our area further their college education,” according to a news release.


Currently, the organization is providing scholarships for Megan Tyler, Emily Grace Welch, Jodie Garner, Hannah Williams and Erica Smith.


The auction will include restaurant gift certificates, hunting supplies, arts, quilts, clothing store gift certificates, jewelry and other items.


The group is also raffling off a quilt (size 88”x88”) hand pieced by Mary Ann Davis as a fund raiser. Tickets are being sold by members. The drawing for the quilt will take place at the auction.


Refreshments will be provided by Catering by Scotty Ray, according to the release.
