Arkansas Division of Services for the Blind announces that a transition fair for high school students will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Dumas Community Center at Dumas.


The event is for students in Dumas and area schools to ensure that they are prepared for life after high school, according to a news release.


The Department of Workforce Services/Division of Services for the blind, pre-employment transition services is hosting the event.


“The transition fair is geared toward students that are on an IEP or 504 plan, blind, visually impaired, students taking transition courses and any other students that would benefit from the transition fair,” according to the release.


Lunch will be provided and door prizes will also be given away.
