White Hall Police arrested two people Monday and seized suspected marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and two guns, one of which was reported stolen.


According to a press release, at about 9 a.m., Officer Clayton Carroll saw Allyson Deweese, 30, who [Ofc. Carroll] suspected of having active warrants for her arrest.


He confirmed with the dispatcher the warrant was valid then stopped the car she was a passenger as it turned off W. Holland Ave. onto I-530.


The car was being operated by Whitney Fellows, 33 who is listed as a parole absconder. Both were taken into custody.


During a search of the vehicle, officers located two firearms, one of which was stolen, marijuana, 34 grams of meth, drug scales, meth pipes, Xanax, another unknown drug suspected to be ecstasy, $370 cash and drug packaging equipment.


The suspected drugs will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for analysis.


Deweese and Fellows were taken to the Dub Brassell Detention Center where they are being held pending an expected court appearance Wednesday.


Fellows is being held on a parole absconder warrant, probable cause for Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Meth, Theft by Receiving, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana.


Deweese is being held on her $1,705 cash only failure to appear warrant, probable cause for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
