The Dewayne Goldmon family, the 2019 Jefferson County and Southeast District Farm Family of the Year, was honored during the 67th annual Farmers Appreciation Fish Fry.


Presented by the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce, the fish fry also recognized Jefferson County’s agribusinesses.


The event was held Oct. 24 at Hestand Stadium, where organizers served 725 plates, according to a Chamber newsletter.


The Goldmon family received plaques in recognition of the farm family honor. The family includes Dewayne II (Dell), Debra, Dewayne and Camille Goldmon, according to a previous article.


The Chamber offered a “huge thank you” to its agribusiness committee, volunteers and sponsors.
