The Family Community Development Corp. will hold the eighth annual Board Banquet at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church Family Life Center, 2507 W. Hill St.
“This event celebrates the illustrious history of our organization and raises funds to support youth and family programs that target residents of the University Park neighborhood, Pine Bluff and Jefferson County,” according to a news release.
The following pillars of the community will be honored: Dr. Martha Flowers, state Rep. Ken Ferguson, the Rev. Samuel and Ruby Criss, Freddie Hartfield, Ph.D, and the Rev. Reneice Davis.
“These individuals have given their time, talent and treasure to support FCDC and the Pine Bluff community,” according to the release.
