The Ivy Center for Education will hold its ACT Prep/College Readiness Workshops Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 4-6:30 p.m., at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave.


ACT workshop presenters are from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville Office of Diversity Affairs Outreach. College readiness presenters are from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff LIONS (Learning Institute and Opportunities for New Students) Program and UAPB Recruitment. Students in 7-12th grades may attend. They should bring paper/pencil.


At 4 p.m., the UAPB LIONS officials will discuss how graduating seniors may become a part of their summer enrichment program and the recruitment officials will discuss early enrollment, scholarships and how students may apply for them.


ACT Prep Workshops will be held from 4:30 -6:30 p.m. Snacks will be offered. There is no cost to attend. The ACT Test will be administered nationwide Saturday, Dec. 14.
