On Dec. 9, New Horizons Extension Homemakers Club members met at the home of Sabrina, Sarah and Sophia Gwin in White Hall.

Sarah and Sophia Gwin, chairwomen of the New Horizons EHC Salvation Army project, presented a box of toiletry items to the Salvation Army.

“These young ladies have been collecting toiletry items all year,” according to a news release. “Our chairwomen have agreed to continue this project for the upcoming new year. These chairwomen also selected an angel from the angle tree, collected and delivered Christmas toys and gifts for the angel.”

New Horizons EHC will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at St. Andrew Missionary Baptist Church. Anyone is welcome to attend and join the club.
