Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Alpha Rho Chapter, at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff , will present its annual Founders’ Day Celebration, 112 Years: A New Decade of Excellence.

The event will be held Sunday, Feb. 23, at UAPB’s Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Building starting at 1:30 p.m. with an art appreciation session. The Founders’ Day program will begin at 3:30 p.m., according to a news release.

The guest speaker will be Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson, an author, motivational speaker and 29th international president of AKA.

This event is open to members of AKA. Tickets can be purchased at the door or; search 112 years: A New Decade of Excellence. Tickets are $20 for graduate members and $8 for undergraduate members.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. is a service organization that was founded in 1908 at Howard University.
