Sunday, March 1— At 3 p.m., at Faith Presbyterian, the “No Child Left Behind” Young Preachers’ Bowl will feature young ministers Spencer Braddix of North Little Rock; Eric Walden of White Hall; Stefan Liddell, Craig Woolfolk and Devin Powell, all of Pine Bluff.

The Rev. Carroll Sr. is the founder/chief executive officer of ACM. The four-day event focuses on providing a platform for future leaders in the church to develop leadership abilities and share their spiritual gifts, he said. Of the 22 young preachers who have participated previously, six are now pastors, one operates his ministry in Pine Bluff and several others are associates at their churches.

“To stay relevant to today’s believers and non-believers, church leaders must continue to push the boundaries of traditional ministry,” Carroll said.

This year’s program is partly funded through a grant provided by the Blue & You Foundation. Details: The Rev. Alfred Carroll, 870-692-9039.
