Women of Grace Episcopal Church, 4101 S. Hazel St., will host Grace To Go, the annual spring fundraiser, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14. This event will be held in Milwee Hall, behind the church building to the north.
All are invited to attend. There is no admission charge, according to a news release.
“Patrons may purchase delicious homemade food items to be enjoyed at home or shared with others,” a spokeswoman said.
Options will include frozen casseroles, such as chicken spaghetti, chicken enchiladas, beef tamales, and beef Stroganoff. Soups, appetizers and mini-quiches will also be available.
The event will feature a variety of desserts and bakery items such as cakes, pies, cookies, and breads.
“In addition, featured items are some of the favorites from the Grace English Tea in past years, such as chicken salad, Victoria tea spread, and asparagus roll-ups,” the spokeswoman said.
Proceeds from this event will be used for community outreach, including support for local agencies such as Neighbor to Neighbor, ACCESS, CASA and the Salvation Army.
Funds will also support camp scholarships for youth, St. Francis house at Little Rock and response to needs around the world through Episcopal Relief and Development.
“This is the 36th year of Grace Episcopal Church Women’s spring fundraiser, formerly the English Tea. The new design better accommodates today’s lifestyle with the convenience of ‘to go’ items, for enjoyment at leisure,” the spokeswoman said.
