Eternal Grace Out-reach Ministries is collecting formal dresses to assist disadvantaged youth in attending their proms. Attire for young men will also be accepted, according to a news release.

Eternal Grace, Full Circle 360, both non-profit organizations, and the Social Work Club at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff are collecting the items. The giveaway will be announced soon.

This is the sixth annual Prom Dress Giveaway for Eternal Grace, an agency that serves children and adults, according to the director, the Rev. Tonya Boyce.

Eternal Grace’s Prom Dress Giveaway began in 2015 as a Girl Scout project to provide prom dresses to teenage girls whose families were financially challenged, according to the release.

“In order for this annual event to be successful, donations of prom dresses, make-up, jewelry and even male attire, is needed. Once dresses are collected, then the giveaway dates will be announced,” according to the release.

Choices of dresses will be subject to availability.
