Jefferson Regional will host free health screenings at Business Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.


The expo is the annual event of the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce which showcases area businesses.


“From blood pressure checks to fall-risk assessments, Business Expo visitors are invited to take a few minutes on May 7 to participate in a series of health screenings,” according to a news release.


The Jefferson Regional 2020 Health Fair will feature: blood sugar screenings, cholesterol screenings, weight and body fat screenings, balance screenings, blood pressure screenings and heart health education.


All screenings are free to wearers of Expo wristbands. The health fair will be located at the back of the Convention Center Arena.


The Chamber’s Business Expo also includes:


Business Expo Breakfast — Thursday, May 7, from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Convention Center Banquet Hall. Tickets are $15 each or $200 for a table of eight.


Business Expo trade show — Thursday, May 7, 9-10 a.m. for VIP (exhibitors and invited guests); 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the general public a the Convention Center. Admission is $5.


For exhibitors — Member rate booths will be $250 and non-member rate booths will be $360.
