Brian Thomas, President & CEO of Jefferson Regional in Pine Bluff, has announced two changes to the executive leadership team, effective March 1, 2020.


• Bryan Jackson has been named Chief Administrative Officer. This newly created position will provide strategic leadership to meet the evolving priorities in today’s healthcare industry. Those priorities include governance, risk management, legal and governmental relations, as well as human resources, information systems and corporate compliance. Jackson has served in a number of financial leadership positions, most recently as Chief Financial Officer since 2011. He is an alumnus of Harding University and the University of Alabama, and a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association with 27 years experience in his field.


• Jeremy Jeffery has been named Chief Financial Officer. Originally joining Jefferson Regional in 2008, Jeffery has served in various roles in financial and strategic leadership, most recently as Vice President of Strategy and Business Analytics since 2017. Jeffery is an alumnus of the University of Central Arkansas, a Certified Public Accountant, and a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, with 17 years experience in his field. In his new position, Jeffery will focus on financial planning and revenue cycle management as well as analyzing the hospital’s financial strengths and weaknesses in response to the changing healthcare landscape.


Jefferson Regional provides healthcare to the residents in eleven counties of Southeast Arkansas. As the county’s only general acute care hospital, Jefferson Regional Medical Center is licensed for 300 acute care beds and serves more than 200,000 South Arkansans.
