Sandra Murry


Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Lynn Bulloch Murry will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9th, 2020, at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop, Louisiana. Committal services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Visitation will be Sunday, March 8th, from 4:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.


Sandra was born February 21, 1949, in Pine Bluff to the late James Townsend Bulloch and Lillian Poole Bulloch. She passed away, after a brief illness, on March 6, 2020, at her home in Bastrop. Sandra was a 1967 graduate of Pine Bluff High School, a member of the Carr Memorial Methodist Church and a retired Agent with the Pine Bluff Revenue Office.


Floyd A. Stringer Jr.


Floyd A. Stringer, Jr., passed from this life into his heavenly life on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Floyd was born on August 23, 1931, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to the late Floyd A. and Stevie Smith Stringer.


Except for a few short periods of work outside of Pine Bluff, Floyd was a life-time resident of Pine Bluff. Floyd attended Pine Bluff public schools, graduated from Mississippi State University, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Landscape Design from Louisiana State University.


Floyd spent most of his adult life working with his family at Green Tree Nursery in Pine Bluff. He served with the 101st Army Airborne Unit during the Korean War as a member of the 9th Division Band. Floyd loved music. He performed with many local and statewide music groups, either as a member of the chorus or orchestra. Floyd was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Pine Bluff.


Floyd is survived by his nephew, Steve Noel and ten first cousins.


He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Phyllis Ann Stringer Noel.


Funeral services will be Monday, March 9, 2020, 1:30, at First Baptist Church of Pine Bluff with Reverend Kenneth Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home. Online condolences: www.ralphrobinsonandson.com.


Goldie Reeves


Goldie Reeves, 96, of Bentonville passed away at Pinnacle Rehab in Rogers February 29,2020.


Mrs. Reeves was a former resident of Pine Bluff before relocating to Bentonville. She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie L. Reeves; two sons Ron Reeves and Eddie Wayne Reeves and a daughter Pat Hatfield.


She is survived by one daughter Sarah (Chuck) Mitchell of Pine Bluff, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.


She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Bentonville and had been a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She had a God given talent for music and enjoyed playing the organ at both churches. In accordance with her wishes no service will be held. Memorials may be made to Greenlee Baptist Church at Pine Bluff.
