Coffee with the Chiefs Community Program will be held from 9-10:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4200 Old Warren Road.
As a result of the March 3 primary elections, Pine Bluff Interested Citizens for Voter Registration Inc. (PBICVR) rescheduled this meeting, according to a news release.
The speaker will be Kenny Smith, director of the Law Enforcement Training component for (COSAR,) the Council on Sexual Assault Response.
“Sexual assault and domestic violence are community issues and require the total community’s engagement to address these silent crimes,” according to the release.
Coffee with the Chiefs provides an opportunity for members of law enforcement and fire safety officials to connect with faith leaders and residents. The Pine Bluff mayor and city council members also have the opportunity to share reports, updates and other information.
The Pine Bluff Distinguished Service Awards are also presented. These awards recognize residents, law enforcement, fire and emergency services, city and county personnel for exceptional service provided to the public.
