The Pine Bluff Faith Community Coalition Ministerial Alliance (PBFCC) is partnering with the U.S. Census Bureau 2020 Initiative in Pine Bluff.

The ministerial alliance calls on all faith leaders in Pine Bluff to encourage their congregations’ participation in the 2020 Census Ten Question Survey to be counted.

April 1, 2020, “Census Day” is just around the corner with some citizens already receiving surveys, according to a news release.

“It is very critical for Pine Bluff citizens to take about 10 to 20 minutes or less and fill out the census survey which will determine how over $675 billion in federal funds are allocated among states and local communities for the next decade,” according to the release.

“As Faith leaders, we are among the most trusted messengers in our communities and are positioned to play a vital role in ensuring everyone is counted in the 2020 Census. PBFCC asks each church leader to place a Census Table in the church lobby that displays Census educational information, issue handouts after Bible Study or Sunday Services. We also ask churches to utilize their marquees for one week with the slogan, ‘Complete Count in 2020.’”

Census materials are available by calling 870-730-1131.
