The New Horizons Extension Homemaker Club went on an outing on Feb. 29 to Mosaic Madness at Hot Springs.

Members made their own Mosaic pieces with the help of organizers at the site, according to a news release.

“Come join us at New Horizons EHC Club, not only for community service but also for outings where we all have a great time together,” a spokeswoman said.

Anyone is welcome to attend and join the club. The club meets at St. Andrew Missionary Baptist Church, 5810 W. Malcomb St., on the second Monday of each month.

Members who attended were Diana Maxwell, Marion Shorey, Dot Hart, Debbie Staton and Kimberly Edwards. The reporter was Diana Maxwell.

The next meeting was scheduled for March 9. For details about Extension Homemaker Clubs, contact the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service Office at 870-534-1033.
