Pastors and members of the 12th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church donated $2,910 to the Arkansas Food Bank at Little Rock on May 6. The funds will help provide 14,550 meals, according to a news release.


The Rev. Reginal Alexander Sr., pastor of Mt. Pleasant AME Church at Pine Bluff, challenged pastors, churches and members in the 12th district to join in the fight against hunger during COVID-19, according to the release.


The following participants donated a total of $2,910 as the first installment to the food bank:
