Students at Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia earned degrees in the graduating class of spring 2020. Southeast Arkansas students were among 506 SAU graduates, according to a news release.


Area honorees include:


Amy Brooke Vallery, an Honors College Graduate from Pine Bluff, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. She majored in K-6 Elementary Education from the College of Education.


Lucas Alexander Blake, an Honors College Graduate, from Star City, graduated Summa Cum Laude with both a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Bachelor of Science degree. Blake majored in Engineering and Engineering-Physics: Science from the College of Science and Engineering.


Tomas Abrams from Pine Bluff, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Abrams majored in Game, Animation, and Simulation Design from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.


Eboni Denae’ Edwards from Pine Bluff, graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Edwards majored in Theatre from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.


Teresa Elizabeth Giblin from Pine Bluff, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Giblin majored in Nursing from the College of Science and Engineering.
