The following agencies announced holiday closings in observance of the Independence Day holiday Saturday, July 4:

City of Pine Bluff/Jefferson County — City and county offices will be closed Friday, July 3, and Monday, July 6. The Pine Bluff Fireworks Show, a drive up event, will be held at 9 p.m. July 4 at Regional Park. Participants are asked to stay in their vehicles and tune to radio station 99.3 The Beat while watching the display. The City of Pine Bluff and the Pine Bluff Festival Association will host the event. Relyance Bank and Simmons Bank are sponsors of the exhibition known as the largest fireworks display in Southeast Arkansas.

City of White Hall — Closed July 3. The city will host fireworks at White Hall High School beginning at dark July 4. Because of COVID-19, participants will watch fireworks from their vehicles, according to a spokesman.

Liberty Utilities — Closed July 3.

Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas — The agency office and Strachota Senior Center will be closed July 3. Southeast Arkansas Transportation (SEAT) will still pick up cancer and dialysis patients.

Arkansas State Offices — State offices will be closed July 3, according to the Secretary of State website.
