The Jefferson County Reading Council donates more than 180 books in ‘I Love to Read’ totes to students at Jenkins Memorial Center. Held at at the educational therapeutic, intervention and support center for children, the event included, from left, Margie Nanak, JCRC director of membership; Shelley Peyton, JCRC vice president; Elizabeth Wall, JCRC president; Zelda Hoaglan, Jenkins executive director; Gretchen Zell, occupational therapist; and Varnell Wallace, early childhood development specialist.
