Kanisher Wooten Caldwell, a candidate for District 65 state representative, announces endorsements.
Caldwell and the Rev. Glenn Barnes Sr. are vying for the seat held by state Rep. Vivian Flowers, who isn't seeking reelection, but is running for mayor. The primary election is March 5.
According to a news release, Caldwell has received endorsements from the following:
American Federation of Labor & Organizations Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL CIO);
Progressive Arkansas Women (PAC);
Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen;
and VOTE -- the Political Action Committee of Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield Employees.
