The senior class at Dollarway High School recently visited the Arkansas State Capitol and met with Gov. Mike Beebe. The purpose of the visit was to bring awareness to seniors about how government functions and the importance of voting.

The senior class at Dollarway High School recently visited the Arkansas State Capitol and met with Gov. Mike Beebe. The purpose of the visit was to bring awareness to seniors about how government functions and the importance of voting.


Partiipants also toured the Clinton Library, where they saw artifacts from former President Bill Clinton’s two terms as president as well as explored full scale replicas of the Clinton-era Oval Office and Cabinet Room. Students also had the opportunity to see the Chihuly Studio Glass exhibit.


The visit was coordinated by Sabrina Threet, Dollarway senior English instructor, and Candice Jones, a college and career coach.
