A Conway man was killed and two others injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday in Grant County.

A Conway man was killed and two others injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday in Grant County.


Alton Fuller, 47, was a passenger in a 2006 Chevrolet Impala that was southbound on U.S. 167 when the vehicle left the roadway, crossed the northbound lanes and hit two embankments before coming to rest, according to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police. Fuller was pronounced dead at the scene by Grant County Coroner Michael Walton at 8:02 a.m.


The driver of the car, Jarvis Fields, 21, and a second passenger, Edwin Turner, 47, both of Conway were injured and taken to Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock for treatment.


According to the report, the weather was clear and the roadway dry at the time of the accident.


The death was the 364th reported so far this year on the state’s highways.
