Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley said dental records confirmed that the victim was Frank Williams Jr., 60, whose body was found inside the house at 1021 W. 50th Ave. after firefighters responded at about 9:30 p.m. Kelley pronounced him dead at 11:06 p.m.


According to online property records from the Jefferson County Assessor’s Office, the house was owned by Frank T. Williams Jr. and wife Edna L. Williams.


Kelley said the medical examiner has not released the cause and manner of death as yet, and fire officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
