Mary Elizabeth Hood Morris, 83 of Watson Chapel, went to be with the Lord, January 18, 2019.
She was born in the countryside of Jefferson County to the late James Shultz and Jessie Spharler Shultz on May 26, 1935.
Mary was reared and received her education at Watson Chapel and was a member of the graduating class of 1953.
She was a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church and attended until her health no longer allowed.
Mary loved the outdoors, she enjoyed fishing and traveling across the United States with her husband from coast to coast. She loved quilting and was known to be an amazing seamstress and a natural when it came to crafting.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Hood, and two infant twin sisters, Nora and Della Shultz.
She is survived by her loving husband, Orlen Morris; two sons, Jim Hood (Lori), Mike Hood (Jan); sister, Margaret Pearcy; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Fuller Hale-South, with visitation beginning one hour prior. Burial will follow in Ramick Cemetery.

Jeffery Allen “Boot” Phillips of Rison went to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 19, 2019. He was born February 14, 1971, in Warren, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father Larry Varnell Phillips. He worked for Tyson Foods, he enjoyed camping, fishing, sports and working in the shop on cars. He attended Faith Pentecostal Church and Trinity Faith Assembly of God.
He is survived by his mother Dianna Jean Myhand (Micky), his daughter, Sarah Beth Phillips, three brothers, Kenneth Phillips (Tracie), Greg Phillips (Donna), Mike Phillips (Brandy), numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Trinity Faith Assembly of God in Rison. with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Varnell Cemetery in Rison.

Bubba Ford, 66, of Hot Springs, formerly of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, January 19, 2019. Born David Payne Ford June 16, 1952, in Pine Bluff, Bubba was the son of the late James David Ford and Ella Hunn Payne Ford.
Bubba was reared and received his education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1970. He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He was a caring husband and father who enjoyed horse racing, trout fishing, and duck hunting. Bubba was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pine Bluff, and he also attended St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Hot Springs.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Janet Scallion Ford; four sons, James David Ford, Allen Payne Ford, Houston Lee Ford, and Patrick Jordan Ford; an aunt, Francis Payne Stark and several cousins. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Pine Bluff with The Reverend CB Baker officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Parish Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church. Graveside services will be private.
