Mrs. Earlean McDonald Daniels, 69 of Pine Bluff, AR, passed on February 15, 2019. She was born on October 5, 1949 in Grady, AR to the late Morris Garner and Bessie Garner.


Her memories will be cherished by: her husband Roy L. Daniels of Pine Bluff, AR, son, Edward Clark Garner of Sherwood, AR; two sisters, Bessie Halford and Betty Ahmad both of Pine Bluff, AR; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren.


Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at New Home MBC, Pine Bluff by Rev. Aaron Barnes. Interment will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.

Latoya Tacarro Weatherspoon, 37, of Pine Bluff passed February 16, 2019. She was born December 5, 1981 to Fred Shepherd, Sr. and Cheryl Johnson.


Survivors include three sons; Lamar Walker, Jr., Jayden Wilkerson and Jay Burgess of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Zharia Neal of Pine Bluff; seven brothers, William (Tyra) Johnson, Jr., Marquitus Johnson, Fred (Sharon) Shepherd, Jr., Donny (Mary) Haywood, Josh (Jaquanda) Haywood, Isiah Jones all of Pine Bluff, and Jeffery (Jessica) Turner of Houston, Texas; two sisters: Jasmine Pryor of Little Rock and Demetrius William (John) Hawkins of Pine Bluff; father, Fred Shepherd, Sr., mother and step-father, Cheryl and William Johnson of Pine Bluff; grandparents; Gracie Colvin and Cleo Lucas of Pine Bluff.


Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at New Town Baptist Church by Reverend Exavier Diamond. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Henson-Holcomb Mortuary.


Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mortuary. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until funeral time.


James Wright


SPARTANBURG SC — James C. Wright “Jim,” 84, died Tuesday, February 19, 2019.


Jim was the youngest son of the late Ella Mae Young Wright and Robert Douglas Wright. Jim grew up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Douglas Wright Jr. He studied architecture at the University of Arkansas, and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and the Razorback Marching Band. He was class of ’58 from the US Naval Academy and served on board submarines, USS Clamagore and USS Trout and as the navigator on the USS Oklahoma City. Jim earned commendation medals for his service in Lebanon, Korea, Cuba and Vietnam.


After the Navy, he joined EG&G Washington Analytical Services Company for 11 years and then Raytheon Service Company in Newport, RI for 24 years until he retired in 2013.


Jim Moved to Spartanburg, SC in 2014 and is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Falkenbury “Bobbi,” his daughter Martha Chapman “Muffet” (Norman) and two granddaughters, Martha and Catherine. A service will be held Monday, February 25 at 4:00 at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, 141 Advent Street Spartanburg, SC His ashes will be interred in the family plot in Bobbi’s hometown of Glens Falls, NY.

Kenny Ray Linell passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019.


He is survived by three sons, two daughters and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with the Reverend, George Waters, Jr., officiating. Interment will be at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, with services entrusted to the P.K. Miller Mortuary. Visitation will be held Friday, from 5-7 p.m., at the mortuary.


Brian Cunningham


Brian Charles Cunningham, age 43, of Centerton went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2019. He was born on October 28, 1975 in Pine Bluff to Charles and Margaret (Sweeney) Cunningham.


Brian worked as a realty project manager for Wal-Mart.


He was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church of Bentonville and was a active member in the children’s ministry. His family was his pride and joy never failing to have a picture or a story to share. Running became a favorite past-time thanks to a few friends that encouraged him to give it a try. Brian never met a stranger and always had a smile and a kind word. His legacy will live on through his children. He knew the Lord as his Savior and we have comfort in knowing he is with Him in Heaven. John 3:16.


Survivors include his parents; his wife, Jennifer Cunningham; children, Jake, Riley, Caleb, and Kaitlyn Cunningham, all of Centerton; and brother, Stephen Cunningham.


He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mark and Hazel Sweeney; paternal grandparents, Charles and Madie Cunningham; and a sister-in-law, Amanda Crawford.


Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22 at First Landmark Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in Bentonville Cemetery.
