Barbara Poole Hall, age 76, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed way Thursday, March 21, 2019. She was born in Sandy, Utah on September 8, 1942. Barbara was raised by her step-father, Floyd Evans Sr. and mother, Anna Salley in Pine Bluff where she lived all of her life. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1960 and worked for Viking Bag for 35 years until the plant closed.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Clyde Hall Jr, who she married in 1960, her mother and step-father, and one sister and brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Osborne (David) of Grapevine, Arkansas; sister, Patsy Miller (Johnny) of Sherrill, Arkansas, two sister-in-law’s, DeDe Evans (Floyd Jr.) of Sheridan, Arkansas and Ginger Martin of Pine Bluff; two beloved granddaughters, Jenny (McAllister) Boyd and Seanna Toatly and was “grandma” to all of their friends whom she loved and two nephews, Drew Evans and Derek Evans. She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews, who were all very loved and special to her.
She loved Jesus, her church, and her church family. She enjoyed working in her yard and mostly enjoyed the arguing on who she baked her famous chocolate and coconut pies for. Finally, she just made everyone their favorite pie.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 1pm, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Christian Life Church, 23 Starlight Drive in Pine Bluff with Bro. Don Herring officiating.

Ross Houston, 66, of Diamond City, died Saturday, March 23, 2019 in Jonesboro.
Born William Rosston Houston August 5, 1952 in Pine Bluff, he was the son of Wendell P. and Dorothy McKinney Houston.
Mr. Houston served in the Army National Guard and was deployed during the Vietnam War. He was a Baptist and worked for Asplundh, where he helped maintain railroad tracks.
Ross was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Jackson Houston of
Diamond City; three daughters, Dana Michelle Houston of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Emily Anne Salvitti of Sherwood and Brandy Houston of San Antonio, Texas; step-daughter, Erica Ivy of Little Rock; step-son,
Dr. Michael Belt of Jonesboro; and numerous grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2019 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Reverend Jordan Ferris officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation

Hannah LeeAnn Roberts, 21, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019. She was born December 6, 1997 in Pine Bluff, daughter of Christopher Gates and Wendy West Gates. Hannah was reared and received her early education in Watson Chapel and White Hall.
She enjoyed being with her friends and family, loving life and spending time with her baby. Hannah was a member of Christina Assembly (International Order of the Rainbow for Girls). She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. John Gates, Sr., Vernon Mack West and Sarah Josephine Brown West.
Survivors include her husband, Adrien Lucas Roberts; daughter, Esmoralda Josephine; parents, Christopher Gates and Wendy West Gates; brother, Cody DeHart; grandmother, Allie Gates; honorary parents, Tom and Cathy Brown and Mike and Kim Roberts; and honorary sisters, Kristen Johnson and Madison Grace Brown.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2019, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Reverend Glenn Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson’s.

Lewis Edwin Branson, 82 of Star City, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 15, 1936 in Carden Bottoms (Yell County) to the late John O. and Tillie Tanner Branson. He was a former Pastor and current Associate Pastor at Rankin Chapel Baptist Church in Dumas; was a retired maintenance and transportation supervisor and school bus driver for Dumas Schools; he was very active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for the Dumas Bobcats, where he was affectionately known as “Peewee” and was the Chaplin and he was a graduate of Dumas High School.
Also preceding him in death was his sister, Della Sue Branson.
Survivors include his wife, who he married June 9, 1956, just shy of 63 years, Catherine Estelle Branson of Star City; 3 sons, Rusty (Lynn) Branson of Benton, Corry Branson and Jeff (Tracy) Branson; daughter, Cindy Branson (Keith) Whiteside, all of Star City; brother, Harold (Patsy) Branson of Watson Chapel; 12 grandchildren, Ashley Branson, Kristin Branson, Tori Branson, Josh Akers, Caleb Akers, Seth Akers, Eric Branson, Chase Harrison, Carlie Brook Harrison, Jeremy Whiteside, Stacey Turner and Chase Whiteside; 13 great-grandchildren, Aubrey Atchison, Brandy Atchison, Issac Gardner, Jack Avett Gardner, Lucy Branson, Emersyn Akers, Caroline Akers, Jay Thompson, Maddy Whiteside, Brennen Akers, Kylee Turner, Kinlee Turner, and Brooks Turner; and 2 nieces, Monica (Dennis) Austin and Pamela Branson.
