Doris Goss, age 91, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019. Born December 14, 1927 in Los Angeles, CA, she was the daughter of the late Martin Setran and Selma Rollfsted Setran. She attended John C. Fremont Adult High School.
A resident of Pine Bluff for over 60 years, she was a faithful member of First Baptist Church where she served as a third- and fourth-grade Sunday school teacher. She and her husband Elgie were avid square dancers and made countless friends and touched many lives throughout their many years of dancing.
For 22 years, Mrs. Goss was a secretary in the Pine Bluff School District, and she and her husband retired in 1993.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Judy Lynn Goss; a daughter-in-law, Sheila Goss; a brother, Joe Setran; and a half-sister, Helen Watson.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Elgie Goss; two sons, Stephen Goss, MD and wife, Susan of Bentonville and Joe Goss and wife, Rhonda of Pine Bluff; a step-sister, Jimmie Lou Aquino; four grandsons, Chad Goss and wife, Ashley of Bentonville, Jake Goss and wife, Mariah of Los Angeles, Bo Goss and wife Hannah, of Fayetteville, and Caleb Goss and wife, Katie of Bryant; and three great-grandchildren, Adeline Goss, Whit Goss, and Anna Grace Goss.
Visitation will begin Saturday, November 30, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Thornton officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Pine Bluff by Ralph Robinson & Son.

Mrs. Irene Dorn Barron, 87, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019.

Mrs. Pearliner Wynn Johnson Logwood was born to the late Doc Litdell Johnson and Mary Baker, in Rayville, Louisiana, on February 14, 1918.
She departed this life on November 23, 2019, at Arkansas Convalescent Center.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at New Morning Star Church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery by the P.K. Miller Mortuary.
Ruby Lee Owen Box, 88, of Rison, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019. She was born December 14, 1930, at Palmyra (Lincoln County) to the late James Edison and Annie Maye Owens Owen.
Ruby had been a resident of Pine Bluff, since 1938. She had previously worked at the Sunbeam Bakery store, and she was a Baptist.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Thelmer Ray Box, whom she married July 27, 1944, and who passed away October 16, 2000; and one brother, Sonny Ferguson.
Ruby is survived by four daughters, Darlene Pickle, JoAnn Higgins, Charlotte Doss and Diane Coddington; one step-daughter, Rebecca Snyder; three brothers, James Leon Owen, Charles Roy Owen and William Larry Owen; one sister, Barbara Lloyd; 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:30 PM Monday, December 2, 2019 at Fuller-Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Reverend Todd Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
