Larry Lawson Sr.
Larry D. Lawson, Sr., age 62, of Hot Springs passed away, Saturday, January 4, 2020. He was born January 25, 1957, in Pine Bluff, AR to Sylvania and Freddie Urquhart Lawson, Sr.
Larry was a graduate of Dollarway High School Class of 1976. He was an avid basketball player. He attended Mississippi Valley State University. He was a former employee for Weyerhaeuser Company. Larry was known as the “Fish Man,” he loved to fish and would sometimes even give them away and sometime he didn’t.
He was preceded by his father and step-mother, Sylvania and Emma Lawson, Sr., his mother and step-father, Freddie and Franklin Cooper, Sr.; a step-brother, Donald Cooper.
Survivors include his children, DaLynn, Larry, Jr., and Deswond Lawson; his brothers, Sylvania (Peggy) Lawson, Jr., Lafayette Lawson, and Gary Compton; sister, Deloris Herron; his step-brothers and step-sisters, Betty Danner, Linda (Grady) Ollison, Franklin (Ruby) Cooper Jr., Darnell (Erica) Cooper, Gary Cooper, Ulysses Cooper, and James Danner; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Harold Lohnes III
Harold Henry “Trip” Lohnes, III, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
Trip was born July 11, 1977, in Pine Bluff, the son of Harold Henry Lohnes, Jr. and Pamela Ray Lohnes.
He was reared and received his education in Pine Bluff, where he graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1995. Trip then attended nursing school at Southeast Arkansas College and graduated with his Associate’s degree in Practical Nursing in 2005.
Trip had worked at Jefferson Regional Medical Center and had worked the last 10 years at the Arkansas Department of Corrections as a nurse.
Trip’s most enjoyable past times were duck hunting, deer hunting, fishing, taking Carter to Regional Park to play, and holding and playing with his sweet baby Addelynn, making faces at each other all the time!!! Trip also loved his job as a nurse, helping his patients and family and friends as much as he could!!
He is survived by his wife, Mallory Carter Lohnes of Pine Bluff; his son, Carter Henry Lohnes of Pine Bluff; his daughter, Addelynn Frances Lohnes of Pine Bluff; his parents, Harold Henry Lohnes, Jr. and Pamela Ray Lohnes; stepmother, Phyllis Lohnes of Pine Bluff; sister, Jennifer (Perry) Wyse of Greenbriar; step-brother, Josh (Jamie) Tice of Nashville; mother and father in-law; Mike and Marilyn Cater of Pine Bluff. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
