She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William S. “Bill” Tucker; her two daughters, Barbara (Danny) Ketchum and Cindy Covert of Benton. She is also survived by her precious granddaughters, Katie (Jared) Clifton and Kellie (GJ) Mayle. She was blessed by seven great-grandchildren whom affectionately called her DoeDoe. They are Canyon, Mali, Lizah and Mercy Clifton, Easton Snellings, Savannah Ann and Adyson Mayle. She is also survived by her sister and best friend (partner in mischief), Jane Dodds. She leaves many cherished nieces and nephews who called her “Aunt Kat”. Her brother, Scotty L. Teer and Raleigh Teer, Jr. preceded her in death.

Kathryn was a member of Yorktown First Baptist Church. She graduated from Grady High School in 1953. After marrying Bill Tucker in 1956, she lived in Fayetteville, Pine Bluff, Dyersburg, TN and Benton.

She loved bowling and continued to bowl until age 80. Her competitive spirit came out whether bowling, playing Baggo or Left, Right, Center. Her hobbies were flowers, mowing, and peeling potatoes to fry daily for her spoiled husband. She was the best cook and always made sure everyone’s favorite dish was on the table. She looked forward each year to the annual Baugh Family Reunion at Jefferson. She endured countless hours in the summer heat as she watched her daughters and granddaughters play hundreds of softball games across the US. In more recent years, she could be found cheering on her great-grandkids during their football, basketball, volleyball and baseball games. Her laughter was contagious and will be missed by all who knew her.
