Mr. Rickey Lamar Jasper 58, of Mesquite, TX, born May 24, 1962, in Pine Bluff, AR, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 3, 2020. He was proceeded in death by his father Lugene Jasper.
He graduated in May 1980 from Dollarway High School in Pine Bluff, AR. He attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, graduating May 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He pledged Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Tau Sigma Chapter, in Spring 1982.
On October 30, 1990, he married Andrea Johnson and they had two children. Rickey worked for many years in the technical field for Xerox and XO Communications before moving into the adjusting field with Renfroe Corporation under the umbrella of State Farm.
Rickey Jasper leaves behind to cherish his memories 2 beautiful daughters: Rianna Nicole Jasper of Atlanta, Georgia and Renise Monae Jasper of Dallas, Texas. His mother: Lucille Jasper of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Six brothers & sisters: Michael Lugene Jasper of Cedar Hill, Texas; Najarad Marsia Jasper of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Joshua Phillip Jasper of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Alice Faye McDaniel of Omaha, Nebraska; Toni L’Nell Jasper of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Kysundra Sharneice Beck (Brandon) of Frisco, Texas. Seven nieces & nephews: CeVon Corbin, Malcolm Jasper, Typhani Bartholomew, Quavon Beck, A’maceo Jasper, of Dallas, Texas; George Watson, Nicole Mattson of Omaha, Nebraska. The mother of his children: Andrea Jasper of Dallas, Texas and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Viewing will be Sunday 5:00-6:00 p.m. July 12th, at Brown Funeral Home. A Graveside Ceremony will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020, 10:30 am at Graceland Cemetery, Wildwood Section. Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR.
