Mother Hicks answered to her name on October 27, 2014 and said "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith, now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness, which the lord the righteous Judge shall give me at that day."

Mother Hicks’ journey began on May 2, 1919 to the late John and Elizabeth Johnson Stokes.


She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter- Debra Hicks. Grandchildren- Julie(Darnell) Harris and Dale Henry Ellington Jr. God-son- Pete (Sonya) Stricklin. God-sent son- Elder Darryl White. God-daughters: Joyce (Wayne), Pearl (Ervin) Dennis, and Kim (Beryl) Bentley. God-granddaughter: Tiffany Dirks. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2014 at First Trinity C.O.G.I.C. by Saint DeWitt Hill. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas by Christian Way Funeral Home.
