WHITE HALL - June Irene (Moore) Wooten (Wootton), 91, 0f White Hall passed away October 20, 2014.


She was born October 15, 1923 in Logan County, Arkansas to James and Helen (Hixson) Moore. Mrs. Wooten was a stay at home wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid vegetable and flower gardener with a green thumb. She had a servant’s heart and willing to help family, friends and neighbors.


June married John Wesley Wooten (Wootton) December 20, 1941 and had three children: Mary Ann (Jasper) Davis of Pine Bluff, Wanda Joyce Leker of Sherwood and Alvin Richard (Marion) Wooten of White Hall.


Mrs. Wooten was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 72 years, brothers, Gilbert, Dean and Tommy Moore; a sister, Dorothy Palmer. She is survived by her three children; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.


Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m., October 24, 2014 in the chapel of Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall with Brother Jackie Jones officiating.


Pallbearers will be Christ Stewart, Skip Leker, Jason Chapman, Doug Johnson, Lane Scrifres and Tyler Scifres with Honorary pallbearers, Cody Orrick, Courtney McKinley and John Wooten Jr.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cranford Funeral Home on Thursday, October 23, 2014.


The family will be at the home in White Hall.


Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery, England, Arkansas by Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall(www.cranfordfh.com).
