Thomas Abram Kenter left this world on March 10, 2014 to join his Savior Jesus Christ in his eternal home. He was born June 17, 1953 in Lansdale, Pa., to the late Stella Newberry and Warren Kenter, Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Warren Kenter Jr., David Kenter, George Lauver, and Doug Lauver; and one sister, LouAnn Keck. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Kathy Kenter of Pine Bluff; son Christopher Thomas Kenter of Hudson, Fla.; daughter, Melanie (Deon) Mosley of Underwood, Iowa; brother, Keith Kenter of Lansdale, Pa.; and sister, Connie Reindl of Concord, Calif. He is also survived by his two grandsons, Ozzie and Julian Berg of Underwood, Iowa; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many wonderful family members and friends too numerous to name. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his constant companion and friend, his miniature dachshund, Sylvie.

Mr. Kenter was a veteran, having served in the US Marine Corps. He was a retired master plumber. He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. Any memorials can be made in his name to Salem Missionary Baptist Church or the local animal shelter. Arkansas Funeral Care will be handling Mr. Kenter’s cremation. Memorial service is 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 5 at Bellwood Cemetery in Pine Bluff, with Bro. Howard Loetscher officiating.
